For those of you who may not know... My dad was diagnosed with ALS-Lou Gehrig's disease Feb 2005.... I have watched my superman go from an active healthy guy, to almost completely losing all of his strength in every single muscle and limb of his body. This journey has been the hardest thing I have gone through in all of my 26 years in life.
I have learned patience, perseverance, my faith in God is at an all time high, and I do not take the people in my life for granted. Everyone has a purpose and a reason why they coexist with you on this earth. Don't take life for granted. Don't take people in this life for granted. Live like you never lived, love like you've never hurt and in all that you do... Know that God is in all, with all, and the creator of all. Still trying to sort out the pieces of my life, I know that I have the best dad in the world. My dad and I may not be able to do all the things that we used to, but his rapport alone brings me joy. As I continue this journey with my father, I know that I am and will always be his baby girl!
Time is of the essence. . .
